The Southwest Conservatory of Music Children’s Choir is dedicated exclusively to meeting the educational and performance needs of children, seeks to do more than introduce youth to music and singing. The choir offers children the opportunity to learn and perform music as well as develop an artistic appreciation of choral singing at a young age. We hope that all children will enjoy a fun-filled childhood surrounded by music, and will carry it with them throughout their lives. The choir also helps the children to develop their voices and increase their understanding of different types of music. It strives to enrich the lives of its members through programs stressing musical aptitude, teamwork, discipline, self-confidence and personal growth and to create the type of nurturing environment that enables members to mature musically and socially.
